Thank you for booking your accommodation through Bournemouth Reef Holidays.

Terms relating to the provision of our terms

This website is owned and operated by Bournemouth Reef Holidays (Proprietor: Nicola Sweet of www.bournemouthreefholidays.com (“Bournemouth Reef Holidays”). This is the user agreement that governs your use of this website and the provision of the services we provide you.

Bournemouth Reef Holidays acts as an agent

When we arrange for accommodation to be reserved on your behalf, Bournemouth Reef Holidays will always operate in accordance with an agency model. As an agent, we act with our suppliers, such as the owner of the hotel or other accommodation type. We also act as your agent and we are responsible to you for the proper performance of those agency services. These terms form the contractual basis of that agency service. However, what that also means is that the final contract for your stay within the accommodation will be between you and the supplier. In most cases this will mean that there are additional terms and conditions governing the contract for the reservation of accommodation as each supplier may have bespoke terms and conditions relating to the reservation of their accommodation. All relevant terms and conditions will be available to you from our website before you complete your transaction. Please make sure that you have read these terms and conditions before completing your transaction.
As an agent we have no contractual liability to you in respect of the accommodation. If there is a problem with the accommodation then typically your contractual remedy will be against the supplier, not us.

Booking Accommodation

Bournemouth Reef Holidays will make every effect to find suitable accommodation for you. The suppliers that we work with display their accommodation on our website and you can make a booking request through us by filling out the enquiry form on the website for your chosen accommodation or by emailing us at info@bournemouthreefholidays.com or by calling the Freephone number 0800 0132324 with your requirements. Please note It is advisable to book group accommodation for the summer months as far in advance as possible to secure the best possible choice of accommodation.

Alternatively, we may have details of alternative suppliers who may be able to offer appropriate accommodation to you. We will discuss these alternative suppliers with you when you have made your booking request.

A transaction with one of our suppliers will be completed as follows:

Once you have contacted us by email or Freephone informing us of your accommodation and availability requirements, one of our reservations team will call the supplier on your behalf and will call or email you back to confirm (or not) the booking. All bookings are subject to a confirmation of availability from the supplier. We aim to call or email you back as soon as possible of your request, to report back about the supplier which may have accommodation to suit your requirements.

Confirming your booking

You are not committed to any accommodation or secured your booking until the following process has been completed.

We will ask for the details of a Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, Delta, Connect and other debit/credit cards to confirm a booking. You are required to pay a non-refundable10% deposit to secure your booking subject to the establishment's own terms and conditions of booking. These terms and conditions may include a further deposit and if this is the case you will be notified at the time of booking. If a further deposit is required by the establishment then this payment is to be made between you and the accommodation provider and will not be processed through Bournemouth Reef Holidays.

Your card details will be passed onto the supplier who will be entitled to use the same in accordance with the supplier’s terms and conditions (e.g. in the event of cancellation). Please ensure that the details you give match those on your credit card billing statement because we reserve the right to cancel a booking if payment is declined or incorrect cardholder details and billing information have been supplied.

Before you confirm your booking you should carefully read the terms and conditions of the supplier which will be brought to your attention; either by reference to a link on our website or asking you to go directly to the website of the supplier. If you proceed to confirm your booking it will be deemed that you have read the terms and conditions of the supplier and that you accept them.

Special offer vouchers & free entrance tickets

Following a successful booking we will send you confirmation via email (or post if requested) including your chosen special offer vouchers and tickets. Subject to terms and conditions.

It is important that all the information you give us when you contact us or otherwise when you use the website, is correct. This includes, without limit, ensuring that we have your correct contact (including e-mail) details at all times. We cannot be held liable for sending you any relevant information where you have given us incorrect contact details. 

Please make sure that upon receipt of the written confirmation or other communication from us, you check them carefully to make sure they accord with our agreement. If they do not, please contact us immediately to highlight your concern. Please note that it is your obligation to assist us to mitigate the potential loss caused by any errors by giving us adequate notice of any problem.

Every supplier has a different practice concerning payment. You may be asked by the supplier to pay for your stay on arrival or departure. This is part of your contract with the supplier.

In order to make a booking you must be over 18 years old, be purchasing for yourself and have the legal capacity to make the transaction.

Special Requests

This is an accommodation agency service and a request may be beyond the services listed on the website. Where possible we will work with our suppliers to try to ensure that the special request is met. However, special requests cannot be guaranteed, and we cannot be liable if the special request is not met.

Making a change or cancelling your booking

The terms and conditions of the suppliers will set out what (if any) charges will apply in the event of cancellation or amendment of a booking.

Amendments, changes or cancellations are to be made direct with the accommodation supplier and you will remain responsible for any cancellation or amendment fees.

Though it is very unlikely, In the event of unavoidable cancellations by the accommodation provider, the accommodation provider will immediately procure suitable substitute accommodation of at least equal standard for the user. Should the user, by way of exception, be informed of the cancellation on arrival, then the accommodation provider shall use all reasonable endeavours to make available substitute accommodation within three hours thereafter. Any additional expenses for substitute accommodation will be borne by the accommodation provider.

Please be aware that credit/debit card details (excluding CVC/3 digit security number) will be taken at the time of booking and will automatically be passed securely on to the accommodation provider in the event of a users failure to turn up/cancellation, they may be subject to any cancellation procedures set in place by the accommodation provider. Any information supplied is not kept by Bournemouth Reef Holidays.

General Terms

While all the information displayed on this website, including, without limit, descriptions of accommodation and attractions, and details of prices and availability, is believed to be accurate by BOURNEMOUTH REEF HOLIDAYS, the information has been provided to BOURNEMOUTH REEF HOLIDAYS by its suppliers. The information is therefore provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.

Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our website or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our website, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for: loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
